Birth Photography: How It Works

24/7 On-Call Coverage from the time that you are 37 weeks.

Full Photography Coverage at the place of birth when you are in active labor and for up to 2 hours postpartum to capture every sacred moment of your baby coming into the world.

You get the full story. I put no limit to the amount of images I deliver, but usually clients receive 75-150 images. Clients can share these with family, friends, and others.

Labor and birth are my passion. When you hire me to photograph your birth, I take that as an honor. I don’t just show up to your birth, but I spend intentional time getting to know you as a person, as well as your family. Your desires, your birth history—it’s all important leading up to this big day of birthing your baby. You’re welcoming me and my camera into one of the most intimate experiences of your life—I get that. And that’s why it’s so important that when you do choose to hire a birth photographer, you ask about experience, familiarity with labor, experience in the OR, and so many more questions. Your birth team matters, and you deserve to feel comfortable with, supported and respected by each person on that team.
